"Al Hisnul Hasin" author is blessed with an auspicious dream

“Al Hisnul Hasin” is a collection of dua’s or supplications of the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam).

“Al Hisnul Hasin” was compiled by Hazrat Allamah Muhammed Ibn Muhammed Jazri Shafi’ee Dameski. He completed the book in his Madrasah on the 22^nd day of Dhu al-Hijja, 691 Hijri. At the time the book was completed, there was widespread unrest in Damascus because of Taimur Long. There were murder and mayhem in the city and in the surrounding suburbs. Water supply was shut down. Every one feared for their property and life.

The author of “Al Hisnul Hasin”, Hazrat Jazri, had a sworn enemy. During this time of widespread disorder, the enemy was actively looking for the author. The author secluded himself and entered into a sanctuary for his protection. In other words, Hazrat Jazri started to recite “Al Hisnul Hasin” on a regular basis.

After a few days, the author was blessed with the vision of the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) in a dream. In the dream, the Beloved Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) asked Hazrat Jazri: “What do you want?” Hazrat Jazri replied: “Oh Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam)! Please pray for me and for all other Muslims.” At this, the Beloved Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) raised his two blessed hands and prayed.

Hazrat Jazri was blessed with this dream on Thursday. By Sunday night, the enemy had fled. This is the barakah or blessings of the Hadith that are contained in “Al Hisnul Hasin.” Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wa Tala'a removed the troubles of Allamah Muhammed Ibn Jazri and all other Muslims because of this blessed book.
